Bid technical clarifications are ongoing at Saudi International Petrochemical Company (Sipchem) on its second-phase project to build a large-scale carbon monoxide (CO) and purification plant at Jubail. Four teams of international contractors submitted proposals in the spring for the estimated $150 million-175 million package, which also includes offsites and utilities work. A final contract award is expected in the fourth quarter.
