Land sale makes way for $100M Genoa Twp. plan

A 200-acre land sale to make way for a $100 million, residential project in Genoa Township is complete. The land, at Brighton and Chilson roads just south of downtown Brighton, was sold in a $4.1 million deal.

The land was purchased by developers Balberman Properties and Crescendo Homes from H&H Gravel, part of the Harley Zeeb Trust, said Lauren Scarpace, associate at Cushman & Wakefield of Michigan Inc. in Southfield and a broker on the deal.

The project calls for up to 400 homes and condominiums.
