Former President Fidel V. Ramos said yesterday that the country's problem is no longer politics but the economy, as he urged the government to focus on solving the skyrocketing prices of crude oil that directly affect the lives of the Filipino people.
"Higit sa lahat ng panahon, kailangan nang pag-aralan kung paano mareresolba ng gobyerno ang problema sa patuloy na pataas ng presyo ng langis. Hirap na hirap na ang mga Filipino," Ramos said in an interview. (It is imperative that we study how the government could solve the problem of high oil prices. Many Filipinos are suffering.)
