Sony Computer Entertainment is developing a pan-European online hub to support the long-awaited launch of its new PlayStation Portable (PSP) games console next month.

The multimedia Web network will act as the main point of contact for PSP enthusiasts in over 100 countries including the UK, Spain and Germany.

Sony's digital strategy will be central to the overall PSP concept, providing users around the world with an online community where they can enhance their gaming experience.
