NEAR TINCUP -- Looking for a splendid fishing hole where you can angle for comely trout in high-country solitude? Leave it to Beaver.
Nature's grand engineer swam past brothers Nate and Jake Fickle, a dark shadow cruising along the floor of the pond. Apparently, the beaver was inspecting the source of all that plopping and whirring and making sure the interlopers weren't damaging its award-winning dam.
"It was huge," Nate said of the beaver.
