NEW YORK -- News Corporation today announced its pledge of $1 million to the Salvation Army to support its relief efforts in the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina.
News Corporation will also match - dollar-for-dollar - contributions made by the Company's employees to accredited charities to a total of $1 million.
Separately, Fox Networks Group has committed more than $5 million in commercial inventory across FOX Broadcasting Co. and all of News Corp.'s cable and satellite-delivered programming services.
