joss stone will soon start singing the praises of gold jewelry. The World Gold Council has hired the 17-year-old blond rocker to convince her fans that yellow-gold necklaces and bangle bracelets are fashion must-haves.

Why the push? Yellow gold has fallen out of favor with younger consumers in recent years as more expensive platinum wedding rings and cheaper silver charm bracelets have caught their fancy.
