Sep. 1--If you're looking for relief from gas prices that have jumped north of $3 a gallon, the experts had simple but exacting advice Wednesday: Don't.
If prices do fall, it won't happen soon, experts said.
"That's an excellent question," Doug MacIntyre, a senior oil market analyst with the Energy Information Administration, said when asked how long elevated prices would stay elevated.
"That's a good question," Sandra Guile, a spokeswoman for AAA's Cincinnati office, said when asked to look into her own crystal ball.
