MILWAUKEE -- The San Diego Padres won the end game against the Milwaukee Brewers Thursday night at Miller Park.
But the bigger issue was whether the Brewers were checkmated by wayward pitches from relievers Kane Davis and Jose Capellan in the 6-5 loss, or the decision by manager Ned Yost to use Davis rather than the just-activated Matt Wise.
