While paying tribute to the unparalleled heroism, courage, and valor of the soldiers who fought in combat, battle line formations and units, we must not forget the contribution by those of our compatriots who, in the trying war years, performed a no less heroic feat by providing the army and navy with all that they needed on the logistical level.
