A military-scientific conference on the theme "Lessons of and Conclusions from the Great Patriotic War and Prospects for the Development of Modern Military Science and Military Art" took place on March 15, 2005. The conference was prepared by the heads of the RF Ministry of Defense and the Academy of Military Sciences.
