A Price Hill man who prosecutors said asked two men for a ride home and then shot them, killing one, could face up to 29 years in prison after a Hamilton County judge found him guilty of reduced charges Thursday.

Hamilton County Common Pleas Judge Norbert Nadel found Willie Russ, 31, guilty of voluntary manslaughter, felonious assault and attempted voluntary manslaughter for his role in an April 24, 2004, shooting outside the Queen Ann Bar in the West End.

Prosecutors said Russ got into an argument with Thomas Baskin and Albert Crutchfield at the bar, but later smoothed things over and asked them for a ride ...
