Poland equity overview 05/09/05 - Major indices down as market peaks
Warsaw. September 5. INTERFAX-EUROPE - Three of the Warsaw Stock Exchange's (WSE) major indices closed down on Monday in what was, according to some analysts, the beginning of a downward trend following last week's huge growth.
"We reached a medium-term peak on Friday on very large turnover and the WIG20 crossed the crucial level of 2,300 points," said Marek Pokrywka of Bank Srodowiska Ochrony. "Now the market is going back down."
