BAYSIDE - Local artists are sharing their dreams of "Far Away Places" at the newest exhibit at the Pembroke 4 Art Gallery.
"I've got paintings that are still wet from my trip to France," said Lois Gallo, one of the gallery's five directors, as she prepared to open the show in August. The paintings remind Gallo of her summer vacation.
The selections are eclectic, while tasteful, Gallo said. Some works will harken to Europe, while others focus on the Caribbean and other sunny spots. Some may inspire spiritual thoughts of another "faraway place," Gallo ...
