Introduction
Information uncertainty is a complex concept with many interpretations across knowledge domains and application contexts. Efforts to develop visualization methods and tools that can help information analysts understand and cope with information uncertainty have been underway for more than a decade. Uncertainty in geospatial information has been given particular attention. Progress has been made, but that progress is reported in diverse outlets across many disciplines.
