Company Offers Refunds, Rebooking Incentives

BUFFALO, N.Y., Sept. 8 /PRNewswire/ -- As a result of the devastating effect of Hurricane Katrina on the greater New Orleans area, officials of Delta Queen Steamboat Company today announced the cancellation of the fall and winter cruise schedule of its steamboat American Queen. The cancellation applies to all three- and four-night cruises from Sept. 17, 2005, until March 5, 2006. The ship will begin sailing again on March 6, 2006. Passengers booked on the affected cruises can receive an automatic refund or choose to rebook the trip with various incentives.
