WE ALL know - because the likes of Clare Short constantly tell us - that the United Nations is the sole possessor of 'moral authority' in this politically immoral world.
But every time I hear some self-righteous politician like Ms Short apply the word 'moral' to the UN, my jaw drops in enraged disbelief.
Was the UN exercising its 'moral authority' when its 'blue beret' forces availed themselves of the sex-trafficking trade in the Balkans? Was it also exercising its 'moral authority' when it fired the whistleblower who exposed this fact?
According to the young prostitutes who'd been trafficked from poverty- stricken ...
