Angered by a plan to expand O'Hare International Airport that would eat into over 400 acres of land in Elk Grove Village and Bensenville, officials voiced their opposition Tuesday outside Federal Aviation Administration public meeting.
The expansion would add an eastern terminal, a western terminal and six parallel runways to O'Hare, and would cost Bensenville over 500 buildings and two cemeteries, while Elk Grove Village stands to lose roughly 100 businesses in the expansion.
