Charity Founder in Relief Effort
DETROIT, Sept. 8 /PRNewswire/ -- Racing For Kids(R) and Dreyer & Reinbold Racing today announced "Racing For Kids(R) Helps New Orleans' Kids," a week long fund raising effort to benefit the child victims of Hurricane Katrina. The program evolved from a special relationship the charity and the race team have to New Orleans and the ravages of last week's storm.
Dr. Bill Pinsky, the Detroit-based charity's founder and a race team member, is Executive Vice President and Chief Academic Officer at New Orleans' Ochsner Clinic Foundation and deeply enmeshed in caring for Katrina's victims.
