Sep. 8--CEDAR FALLS -- As cell-phone usage continues to rise, so too is there an increasing demand for cellular-phone towers to support all the conversation.
In the past year, Cedar Falls has received three requests for new cell towers. This month the city's Planning and Zoning Commission will hear the latest proposal.
Cingular Wireless is requesting to build a tower on the 2700 block of Grand Boulevard, on property zoned for residential use.
