Sep. 8--CEDAR FALLS -- A College Hill convenience store closed its doors for good this week.
Kum & Go, 2128 College St., closed Sept. 6 after about 20 years on the Hill. Maureen Roushar, public relations director for the company, said workers would be moving items out of the store this week.
"We just decided to close it in following with our overall strategic plan of how and where we want to grow in the next four years," she said.
Roushar said the decision was not easy, given the close relationship they have with the university and neighboring area.
