Persistence is WPP chief executive Sir Martin Sorrell's favourite concept at the moment, and, as he recalls building the company up from scratch, Elen Lewis can see why
It took a while for him to warm up, but now, at the end of the interview, Martin Sorrell, chief executive of WPP, is going back to his office to find a quote to show me. It's one he discovered just yesterday, in preparation for a debate at Oxford University, and he really likes it. It's about persistence.
