MIRABEL, QUEBEC, Sep 9, 2005 (CCNMatthews via COMTEX) -- Le Journal de Montreal held the official sod-turning ceremony for its new printing plant with a number of guests and dignitaries in attendance, including Hubert Meilleur, Mayor of Mirabel, and Denise Beaudoin, MNA for Mirabel. The construction project is part of an investment of more than $110 million being made by Quebecor Media Inc. to modernize and relocate the printing facility of Le Journal de Montreal.
The new building is being constructed on a 650,000 square-foot lot in Saint-Janvier de Mirabel. It will house three new state-of-the-art presses and a new shipping room fitted with fully automated inserting ...
