MTC Technologies, Inc. (Nasdaq: MTCT), a significant provider of engineering, information technology, and other technical solutions to the Department of Defense and national security agencies, announced that its wholly owned subsidiary, Manufacturing Technology Inc. (MTI), has been awarded one of 10 contracts as part of the Air Force's second Design & Engineering Support Program (DESP II).
Six large and four small business companies won awards on the contract, which extends for seven years, through June 2012. The contract is an indefinite delivery-indefinite quantity contract with a maximum dollar amount of $1.9 billion for all task orders issued to all 10 contractors. ...
