Brocade Communications Systems, Inc. (Brocade) (Nasdaq: BRCDE) today announced that Hitachi DataSystems Corporation now offers its customers access to the industry's only complete family of 4 Gbit/sec Storage Area Network (SAN) infrastructure solutions built on a common system architecture. Hitachi Data Systems has added the 4 Gbit/sec Brocade SilkWorm 48000 Director and the Brocade SilkWorm200E Switch to its portfolio of networked storage solutions, which also includes the Brocade SilkWorm 4100 midrange switch, the industry's first 4Gbit/sec switch, brought to market in November 2004.
