Verizon Wireless is spreading the broadband around. The wireless operator, which currently has the only wide-area wireless broadband network in the US, is now offering its Evolution-Data Optimized (EV-DO) services in seven additional markets.
The EV-DO-based services include V CAST for consumers and BroadbandA-ccess for business customers.
For $15 a month on top of their monthly calling plan, V CAST lets consumers with select phones watch short-form video content, including news, weather, sports and entertainment, on-demand.
