Dhaka, Sept 10 (UNB) - The country today (Saturday) experienced some 400 MW of load-shedding although it was a holiday. Officials at the Power Development Board (PDB) said at least six large-scale generation units remained closed causing this huge load-shedding during a holiday when the country needs relatively lower amount of electricity. The closed units are unit No-6 (210 MW) at Ghorarsal Station, unit No-4 (150) at Ashuganj, 110 MW and 60 MW units in Khulna, and 100 MW and 71 MW units in Baghabari.
