Dear Carol: I have attached a picture of a weed that is quite a nuisance.
My property is on the edge of woods. I have sprayed areas with weed killer, had landscape fabric and mulch put down and have planted many shrubs and perennials. This weed grows right through the fabric. It's hard to pull out, and unless you get the root, it grows right back. It just seems to spread everywhere.
What is it, and how can I get rid of it? The point of the landscape fabric was to keep the weeds to a minimum. L.H., Canastota.
