With the acquisition of 21 journals, Palgrave Macmillan has signalled its intentions to become a major player in the business journals market. Titles covering finance, management, marketing and property have been acquired from London-based Henry Stewart Publications.
"We are committed to building our database of business journals," said Mariam Hasan, Palgrave Macmillan journals publisher, "and we are looking to invest in business journals." Dominic Knight, managing director at Palgrave said the acquisition "represents a significant step forwards in the development of our journals programme".
