King Alexander stared unhappily at a dripping glob that sat on his fork. It looked like something that belonged in the garbage. He couldn't bring himself to put it in his mouth.
"What is this?" he asked Cornelius, the palace cook, who was standing at the side of the table, anxiously awaiting the king's reaction to his creation.
"It's Chocolate Pineapple Surprise," answered Cornelius proudly.
"What's the surprise?" asked the king, almost afraid to hear the answer.
"Oh, lots of things," answered the cook. "Spinach, sauerkraut, strawberries, cranberry sauce.... Your Majesty, why is your face turning green?"
