During their first quarter of offering mobile music services, South Korea's SK Telecom reported more than half a million mobile music subscriptions, and Japan's KDDI witnessed an increase in 3G average revenue per unit (ARPU) by nearly 40 percent, according to Pyramid Research in its report, Get on Track with Mobile Music: Exploring Mobile Music Best Practices.
