Hal Leonard has issued The Classical Fake Book, a collection of over 600 classical themes and melodies in their original keys. Each composition is presented in a fake book style with melody line and harmony sketch in above it in chord labels.
This unprecedented book is a virtual encyclopedia of classical music in one complete volume. It includes over 165 classical composers, a huge selection of "light classics" and themes, alphabetical contents of composer, alphabetical contents by title, a time line of major classical composers, a categorical listing, and, when appropriate, lyrics in the original language.
