Sep. 12--An upcoming Erie County bond issue could have another project on the books.
Officials of the Erie County Public Library Foundation would like to add $2 million for branch library construction.
The foundation would repay the county for the principal and interest on the $2 million over the life of the bonds.
But the arrangement would allow the foundation's own funds for library branch construction to last longer because of the low interest rate on the bond issue, county officials said.
