SAN FRANCISCO -- Macrovision(R) Corporation (Nasdaq:MVSN) and Solid Networks today revealed plans to digitally distribute PC videogames in Japan. The two companies have signed an agreement which will extend the Macrovision model of digital distribution into Japan, offering secure online game distribution to game developers and publishers and a catalog of legitimate downloadable games in a try-before-you-buy format to portals and e-commerce sites.
