Sep. 12--COIMBATORE -- The Tea Board, which recently cancelled its contract with IBM for managing e-auctions and revoked the bank guarantee, is scouting for a new partner to ensure a smooth functioning of the system. Accenture has been given the temporary responsibility of managing the auctions during the interim period.
"The board is on the lookout for a new partner. We need to have new customised software for carrying out the auctions. However, this will take time. The entire process will be streamlined in the due course of time," sources in the Tea Board said.
