Sep. 14--FRANKFURT, Germany -- Toyota unveiled its all-new RAV4 at the Frankfurt auto show Tuesday, just a couple of months before the compact SUV is due to go on sale in the United States.
The new RAV4 is larger and more powerful than the model it replaces, with an exterior design that was clearly influenced by popular European vehicles like the BMW X3 and Renault Megane.
The five-passenger RAV4 offers more interior space. The rear seats have 6.6 inches of front-to-rear travel and fold flat for cargo. It is about 4.2 inches longer and 3.1 inches wider than the current model. Toyota will offer two diesel engines for the RAV4 ...
