MAGIC draws strong bookings for fall, some spring orders; but in young men's no one 'hot' look emerges. (Men's Apparel Guild in California)

The Men's Apparel Guild in California exhibition in Las Vegas, NV, in Apr 1993 presented fall offerings that sold well in the traditional menswear area, but not as well in young men's apparel. There was no one 'look' that grabbed buyers' attention in the young men's department, and fashions seemed to be a repeat of what sold well in other seasons. Flannels, the grunge look and workwear were among the offerings. For fall 1993, texture is popular in fabrics, such as velvet, fleece and thermal.
