THOUSANDS of motorists caused massive tailbacks at petrol stations as panic buying hit Coventry and Warwickshire last night.
Drivers were caught up in big queues at city supermarkets, including Tescos at Arena Park in Rowleys Green and Binley's Morrisons store.
Last night's panic-buying came in advance of tomorrow's expected fuel protests about soaring prices.
Campaigners plan to blockade depots and stage go slow cavalcades on motorways nationwide from tomorrow.
