The Florence Planning and Zoning Committee has recommended that the city approve the construction of 238 upscale condominiums and 106 townhouses, further clearing the way for annexation of property off Hopeful Church Road.
The two-member committee of Council Members Mel Carroll and David Osborne recommended the project to council during a caucus meeting last week, with seven additional conditions, said Florence Assistant City Coordinator Rick Lunnemann.
"The city concurred with those seven and added two more conditions," he said.
