Sep. 14--Have you heard that noise, or maybe even spotted the slow-moving truck around town? Were you lucky enough to be on its route or see it at an event and try the cold, yummy treats?
The $100,000 Liberty Ice Cream Co. truck is owned and driven by Michael Della Camera, who cruises the streets of Charlotte County and also makes stops at parties and events, like the Harley Charley Party at Charlotte Sports Park last month.
Ice cream vending has always been in the Britisher's blood.
"I remember being 6 or 7, working on Dad's (ice cream) truck (in England)," said Camera.
