DAIRY CREST'S Crudgington creamery, near Telford in Shropshire, manufactures milk powders and a range of yellow fat products, including Clover, the blended spread.
The blended spread market has become increasingly competitive over the past few years. During this time Crudgington has implemented many manufacturing improvements since the introduction in the mid 1980s of Clover - a blend of cream and vegetable oil that spreads, even when taken straight from the refrigerator.
