AUSTIN, Texas, Sept. 15 /PRNewswire/ -- The Texas Association of Realtors announced its decision to endorse Rick Perry in his re-election bid as Texas governor. Making the statement last week at the organization's annual convention in Corpus Christi, TAR Chairman Lance Lacy applauded the governor's commitment to strengthening the rights of private-property owners across the state.
"Gov. Perry has continued to side with homeowners, and that is why we are siding with him today," said Lacy. "The Texas Association of Realtors Executive Board voted unanimously to endorse Gov. Perry in his re-election bid to continue to be the governor of the great state of Texas."
