NEW YORK-For Orian Rugs, the artistic vision of American cultural icon Jerry Garcia has been a key to growing its business.

In January, Orian Rugs showed, for the first time, 22 polypropylene rugs based on the designs of the late Grateful Dead guitarist, frontman and artist. Because response to the collection was positive, the company will introduce four more designs at the October textiles market.
