Kingboard Chemical set to launch methanol project in Chongqing
Shanghai. December 8. INTERFAX-CHINA - Hong Kong-headquartered chemical producer, Kingboard Chemical Holding Ltd has entered a deal with the Chemical Industrial Park in Chongqing Municipality to launch a methanol project.
The methanol project is designed to produce 750,000 tons per annum, and scheduled to go into operation in 2006. Investment in the project is estimated at RMB 1.7 bln (USD 205.39 mln).
