China will use environmental impact law to curb polluting sectors
Shanghai. March 8. INTERFAX-CHINA - Pan Yue, the Deputy Director of the State Environmental Protection Administration (SEPA), said on Monday that China would use the environmental impact assessment mechanism to prevent the launch of substandard projects in the iron and steel, concrete, primary aluminum, alumina, ferroalloy, calcium carbide, and coke industries.
