Heartland heading for growth after strong IPO performance.(Finance)

Expansion is afoot at the North Olmsted office of Heartland Payment Systems Inc. following the company's impressive early performance on the New York Stock Exchange.

On its opening day of trading Aug. 11, Princeton, N.J.-based Heartland posted a gain of 36%. The provider of credit- and debit-card processing services as well as payroll processing services sold 6.75 million shares at an initial public offering price of $18. Last week, Heartland shares were trading at around $25, up slightly from the first-day close of $24.51.
