283p - Speciality & other finance - Helphire went through a torrid time a few years ago and nearly went bust. Thankfully, that is now all water under the bridge, and both the company and the share price are making up for lost time.
The company supplies replacement cars to drivers involved in accidents for which they are not to blame. Around one in five drivers are caught in an accident every year - and 20 per cent of these are not at fault. With 25m drivers on the road in the UK, this gives Helphire a potential market of 1m motorists. Helphire is currently servicing just 70,000 of these.
