BP establishes first LPG retail company in eastern China

Shanghai. September 16. INTERFAX-CHINA - The world largest oil company, British Petroleum, announced on Tuesday that it has established the BP (Shanghai) LPG Corporation, the company's first LPG retail subsidiary in eastern China.

The new company was established through the acquisition of the Waisihot Gas Corporation, a Shanghai-Hong Kong joint venture, and a local company, the Baocheng Gas Corporation.
