Sep. 17--Rappahannock Goodwill Industries is taking advantage of its spacious laundry facility in Fredericksburg Battlefield Industrial Park.
The operation, which washes, dries, folds and irons laundry for a variety of clients, recently received a sizable new contract.
The organization has agreed to handle Southeast Community Hospital's 700,000 pounds of laundry annually, according to Mike West, vice president of marketing and development for the regional Goodwill.
The contract with the Washington hospital puts the facility at 3.5 million pounds of laundry a year. It's 24,000-square-foot site, which it moved into in 2003, can handle 12 ...
