The Association of Brewers' 11th annual Great American Beer Festival was called the "biggest success in the festival's 11-year history" by event organizers.
"We broke just about every record on the books for the Great American Beer Festival and a few world records, too," explained the association's marketing director Matthew Walles.
According to Walles, nearly 12,000 beer lovers from across the country and around the world were on hand over the two nights to sample some of the 710 beers from 168 breweries represented at the festival. The event was held October 2-3 at Denver's Merchandise Mart Pavilion.
